About Our Privacy Policy

Nadokids®️ values your privacy greatly. We only process data that we need for (improving) our services and handle the information we have collected about you and your use of our services with care. We never make your data available to third parties for commercial purposes.

This privacy policy applies to the use of the website and the services provided by Nadokids®️. The effective date for the validity of these conditions is 21/05/2024. With the publication of a new version, the validity of all previous versions expires. This privacy policy describes what data about you is collected, what these data are used for, and with whom and under what conditions these data may be shared with third parties. We also explain how we store your data, how we protect your data from misuse, and what rights you have concerning the personal data you provide us.

Data Processing
Below you can read how we process your data, where we store it, what security techniques we use, and who has access to the data.

E-commerce Software Shopify
Our online store is developed with Shopify software. Personal data you provide to us for our services are shared with this party. Shopify has access to your data to provide us with (technical) support; they will never use your data for other purposes. Based on the agreement we have with them, Shopify is required to take appropriate security measures. These security measures include SSL encryption and a strong password policy. Shopify is a certified processor of credit card data. Shopify uses cookies to collect technical information about your use of the software; no personal data is collected and/or stored. Shopify reserves the right to share collected data within its own group to further improve services. Shopify considers the applicable statutory retention periods for (personal) data. The EU/US Privacy Shield rules apply, and your data may be processed in the United States.

Gmail
We use Gmail services for our regular business email traffic. This party has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent misuse, loss, and corruption of your and our data as much as possible. Gmail has no access to our mailbox, and we treat all our email traffic confidentially.

Payment Processors Shopify Payments
We use the Shopify Payments platform to handle (part of) the payments in our online store. Shopify Payments processes your name, address, and residence details and your payment details such as your bank account or credit card number. Shopify Payments has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. Shopify Payments reserves the right to use your data to further improve its services and, in this context, to share (anonymized) data with third parties. In the case of a deferred payment application (credit facility), Shopify Payments shares personal data and information regarding your financial position with credit assessment agencies. All the aforementioned protections regarding the protection of your personal data apply to the parts of Shopify Payments' services for which they engage third parties. Shopify Payments does not retain your data longer than is permitted by the statutory terms.

Reviews Judge.me
We collect reviews via the Judge.me platform. If you leave a review through Judge.me, you are required to provide your name and email address. Judge.me shares this information with us so that we can link the review to your order. In some cases, Judge.me may contact you to clarify your review. If we invite you to leave a review, we share your name and email address with Judge.me. They use this data solely to invite you to leave a review. Judge.me has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. Judge.me reserves the right to engage third parties for the services, for which we have given Judge.me permission. All the above protections regarding the protection of your personal data apply to the parts of the services for which Judge.me engages third parties.

Shipping and Logistics Partners PostNL
If you place an order with us, it is our job to have your package delivered to you. We use the services of PostNL to carry out the deliveries. It is necessary for us to share your name, address, and residence details with PostNL. PostNL only uses this data for executing the agreement. In the event that PostNL engages subcontractors, PostNL will also make your data available to these parties.

Accounting and Bookkeeping Order Printer Pro
For keeping our administration and bookkeeping records, we use the services of Order Printer Pro. We share your name, address, residence details, and order details. These data are used for administering sales invoices. Your personal data are sent and stored securely. Order Printer Pro is obliged to maintain confidentiality and will treat your data confidentially. Order Printer Pro does not use your personal data for purposes other than those described above.

External Sales Channels Bol.com
We sell (some of) our items via the Bol.com platform. If you place an order through this platform, Bol.com shares your order and personal data with us. We use this data to process your order. We treat your data confidentially and have taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against loss and unauthorized use.

Purpose of Data Processing General Purpose of Processing
We only use your data for our services. This means that the purpose of the processing is always directly related to the order you provide. We do not use your data for (targeted) marketing. If you share data with us, and we use this data to contact you at a later date - other than at your request - we will ask for your explicit permission. Your data are not shared with third parties other than to comply with accounting and other administrative obligations. These third parties are all bound to confidentiality by an agreement between them and us or an oath or legal obligation.

Automatically Collected Data
Data that is automatically collected by our website is processed to further improve our services. These data (for example, your IP address, web browser, and operating system) are not personal data.

Cooperation with Tax and Criminal Investigations
In certain cases, Nadokids®️ may be obliged to share your data in connection with tax or criminal investigations by governmental authorities. In such a case, we are forced to share your data, but we will oppose it within the possibilities the law offers us.

Retention Periods
We retain your data as long as you are a customer of ours. This means we keep your customer profile until you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services. If you let us know, we will consider this as a request to forget. This also means that we do not retain your data for more than two years after your last contact or transaction, unless there is a legal reason to retain the data longer. Based on applicable administrative obligations, we must retain invoices with your (personal) data, so we retain these data for as long as the applicable term runs. Employees, however, no longer have access to your customer profile and documents we have created in response to your order.

Your Rights
Under applicable Dutch and European legislation, you have certain rights regarding the personal data processed by or on behalf of us. Below, we explain what these rights are and how you can exercise them. To prevent misuse, we only send copies and transcripts of your data to your already known email address. If you wish to receive the data at another email address or, for example, by post, we will ask you to identify yourself. We keep records of completed requests; in the case of a forget request, we anonymize data. You receive all copies and transcripts of data in the machine-readable data format we use in our systems. You always have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority if you suspect that we misuse your personal data.

Right of Access
You always have the right to view the data that we (have) processed and that relate to your person or can be traced to it. You can make a request to our privacy officer for this purpose. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a copy of all data with an overview of the processors who hold these data, stating the category under which we have stored these data, to the email address known to us.

Right to Rectification
You always have the right to have the data that we (have) processed and that relate to your person or can be traced to it, adjusted. You can make a request to our privacy officer for this purpose. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a confirmation that the data has been adjusted to the email address known to us.

Right to Restriction of Processing
You always have the right to restrict the data that we (have) processed that relate to your person or can be traced to it. You can make a request to our privacy officer for this purpose. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a confirmation to the email address known to us that the data will no longer be processed until you lift the restriction.

Right to Data Portability
You always have the right to have the data that we (have) processed and that relate to your person or can be traced to it, carried out by another party. You can make a request to our privacy officer for this purpose. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you copies or transcripts of all data about you that we have processed or that have been processed by other processors or third parties on our behalf, to the email address known to us. In all likelihood, we will no longer be able to continue the service in such a case, because the safe linking of data files can then no longer be guaranteed.

Right to Object and Other Rights
In appropriate cases, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data by or on behalf of Nadokids®️. If you object, we will immediately cease the data processing pending the handling of your objection. If your objection is well-founded, we will provide you with copies and/or transcripts of the data we (have) processed and then permanently cease processing. You also have the right not to be subjected to automated individual decision-making or profiling. We do not process your data in such a way that this right applies. If you believe this is the case, please contact our privacy officer.

Cookies Google Analytics
Cookies from the American company Google are placed via our website as part of the "Analytics" service. We use this service to keep track of and receive reports on how visitors use the website. This processor may be obliged by applicable laws and regulations to provide access to these data. We have not allowed Google to use the obtained analytics information for other Google services.

In the case that third-party software solutions use cookies, this is stated in this privacy declaration.

Changes to the Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to change our privacy policy at any time. However, you will always find the most recent version on this page. If the new privacy policy has consequences for the way we process data already collected about you, we will notify you by email.
